Hi tweets,

I decided to spend the day trying to find some shorebirds around Ellensburg. Found shorebirds at 2 spots.

Near the corner of Reecer Ck Rd and Smithson road found a creek running through a horse corral that had a couple of highlights. If water level stay right this spot has great potential and should be checked by anybody going through the area. If you need better directions email me and I can help.

Among the many killdeer, saw
2 COMMON SNIPE
1 PECTORAL SANDPIPER
1 BAIRD'S SANDPIPER, the WA birder checklist doesn't list this is it a new county record?

At the pond behind the Bar-14 restaurant just north of I-90 on Canyon Rd. The field around the pond was flooded and thus had lots of Killdeer and a few highlights:
1 WESTERN SANDPIPER
4 LONG-BILLED DOWITCHER
6 AMERICAN PIPIT
