I had a rufous at the feeder this afternoon here near Lake Whatcom, east
of Bellingham. This one spooked and left as soon as it saw any
movement inside the window so it most likely is not one of the regulars
from earlier in the season. In the past I have had records of them into
early September at Mt. Baker Ski Area. The last one this year that I saw
was mid-August.
