Greetings All,

We had a great day on the ocean today with little swell and clear skies for
most of the afternoon. Had some very high counts for certain species,
including 150+ POMARINE JAEGERS, 21 SOUTH POLAR SKUAS (probable westport
records both), a few thousand Pink-footed Shearwaters, and almost 500
BULLER'S SHEARWATERS as just a few of the highlights. Numbers will be
posted to the website www.westportseabirds.com within this coming week.
Also check out the new cetacean photos just recently uploaded. Still alot
of work to do on the site, but its coming along now.

We have plenty of room on our upcoming, and last scheduled trip of the year
next Saturday the 29th of September. So if you have wanted to get out on a
pelagic this year from Washington, this may be your last chance until our
new schedule comes out in the winter.
If interested, contact Phil or Chris Anderson at (360) 268-5222 or e-mail
at pmand at techline.com The trip is 80 dollars and leaves at 7:00AM. See the
website for further details, and you can also check out past trip reports
from the last few years, including up to date numbers from this year (todays
numbers pending).
Hopefully will see some of you on the boat, and maybe turn up something
interesting.

Cheers and Good Birding
