While we may agree with the sentiments, and the text is based on what
Gordon Sinclair did broadcast, it was broadcast in 1973. It also is
not the full, original text. It seems to have been altered with an
eye to removing references that would date it (and changed in some
places: e.g. the Douglas DC-10), possibly to make it seem Mr.
Sinclair is responding in some way to the recent terrorist attacks.
Mr. Sinclair died in 1984.
