Hi everyone,
Fred Boesche and I birded mainly in Okanogan Co. September 23rd-25th. We
found 129 species during the entire trip, including 1 life bird for each of
us. Below is a run-down of where we went, what we did, what we saw.

Then we set up camp at Tiffany Springs CG before starting owling at sunset.
We were successful, with 1 BOREAL OWL calling with the high-pitched "skeew"
call along FR 39 where North Fork Boulder Creek crosses the road. The bird
called about 10 times, then stopped and could not be located.

here despite extensive searching.

1 female/imm. male SPRUCE GROUSE (life bird for myself, after several
searches for them). We first saw the bird on the road, but couldn't stop the
car until the bird was next to us on the side of the road. The bird stood
