On our way home today we looked for the Cranes on the Corfu road and did not
find them. We accidentally happened on their day roost
between Corfu and Smyrna on the lower Crab Creek Road about a mile east of
road E SW (Red Rock Coulee)

this was at about 1:30 PM

it's at approximately B4 on page 52 of the DeLorme Atlas, in Grant County.

The cranes are in some corn stubble near the road and also spread out along
the creek in concentrations great and small in the distance.
there is a small trailer park just to the east of this area

If you are coming from the east and are accessing the area via Corfu road
B SE) there is one very steep and curving section with a depressed cattle
guard that should be driven over carefully and slowly.

It was a delightful find
