Hello Tweeters,
Laura Jordison here again. My birthday is tomorrow (April 3rd), but I
received an early gift from my parents. A Bushnell Sentry spotting scope! I
was so astonished! It came with a table top tripod and a hard black case.
Luckily my dad's camera tripod works with it (and the camera tripod is nice
and light). The next morning I went on a birding trip with my birding buddy
Richard to Iona Island. We met near the South Jetty at 7:00 a.m. and were
there until 9:00 a.m. These are the birds we saw:

-Glaucous-winged Gull
-Double-crested Cormorant
-Eurasian Wigeon
-Canvasback
-Northern Pintail
-Green-winged Teal
-Bufflehead
-American Wigeon
-Northern Shoveler
-Mallard
-Greater Scaup (dead!, probably flew into chain link fence, had broken neck)
-American Coot
-Ruddy Duck
-Gadwall
-Canada Goose
-Killdeer
-Ring-necked Pheasant (heard, not seen)
-Bald Eagle
-Northern Harrier

-House Sparrow
-Golden-crowned Sparrow
-Fox Sparrow
-Song Sparrow
