Sunday, March 17, 6:00 PM. This is Michael Fleming, 206-297-3234. I went
birding today, this is March 17th, with Michael Donahue and Allen Knue. We
went up to Anacortes to see the YELLOW BILLED LOON. It is still there. It
was in the Cap Sante Marina at Dock B at the far end of the dock amongst
the boats there about 5'-10' offshore. Also, went birding in the Samish
Flats area and saw a AMERICAN-EURASIAN GREEN WINGED TEAL hybrid
approximately a quarter mile up the Bayview Edison Rd. off of Hwy
20. Thank you very much, good birding.

Monday, March 18, 10:41 PM. Hello, this is Bob Yutzy. I'm reporting a
gray-phase GYRFALCON. I'm sorry this report is late. It was seen Sunday;
several of us saw it in the late afternoon on Samish Island Dr. off
Bayview-Edison Rd. Instead of going to the left toward the FALCATED DUCK
west 90 area, go to the right a short distance until you cross over the
river and park there. The bird was seen there by several of us. Good
birding, bye. My phone number is 425-641-1793. Good birding.

Friday, March 22, 7:32 AM. This is Rachel Lawson, Birdbox System
Administrator. On Thursday, March 21, Bill Rathman reports that he
relocated the YELLOW-BILLED LOON in the Cap Sante Marina at Anacortes. It
was seen in various places around the marina including the end of Dock
C. That's it, good birding.

Saturday, March 23, 4:45 PM. Hi, this is Denny Granstrand. At 3:30 this
afternoon, I saw the GRACKLE that was near Yakima that seemed to have
disappeared. It's back in the same location. From I-82 in Yakima, go east
on Hwy 24 a little over two miles to a stoplight at Birchfield Rd. Turn
south on Birchfield Rd. and go one mile. I saw the GRACKLE with a flock of
mostly BREWER'S BLACKBIRDS in the pasture just south of the corrals with
the horses and llamas. Then the flock split up. The GRACKLE flew with a
number of BREWER'S BLACKBIRDS south to a tree in the backyard at 2711 So.
Birchfield Rd. So it's still there. Bye.

Monday, March 25, 3:04 PM. This if Bob Forge, daytime phone is
206-296-1939. I don't know if this is a rare bird or not but I saw the
yellow variant of the HOUSE FINCH at a feeder at my house in
Issaquah. Anyway, that was on Saturday, March 23rd. Thanks, goodbye.

Monday, March 25, 10:27 PM. This is Rachel Lawson at 206-282-5593. This
morning the Yakima COMMON GRACKLE was still present at the usual location
on Birchfield Road. That's it, good birding.

Tuesday, March 26, 1:27 PM. My name is Ken Killian. My phone number is
253-833-5574. I live in Auburn, Washington and I would like to report and
confirmation the siting of a pair of MANDARIN DUCKS in the lagoon where we
live and they've been there for several days and I have been able to
confirm and photograph them.

Wednesday, March 27, 4:52 PM. This is Rachel Lawson at 206-282-5593. This
afternoon at the Ballard Locks in Seattle, I saw one WHITE-FRONTED
GOOSE. It was with a small flock of CANADA GEESE on the steep terraced
slope on the north side of the locks. That's it. Good birding.
