This is my first posting to the list so.....here goes.

Easter Sunday I birded for a bit along the foot trail through Marsh Island
and Foster Island. Saw an adult male Green Heron at the east end of Marsh
Island standing on a log, he then crept into the branches of the overhanging
brush. Sorry for the late posting on this one.

Took off to see about the Yellow Billed loon in Anacortes on Wednesday,
didn't see it but have a question... do loon populate the marina there? At
dock B/C there were two common and one pacific all vying for food and
property rights it looked like.

Yesterday morning, Thursday, had a common redpoll forage under my feeders
until about noon, may still have been around after that but I didn't see it.
Haven't seen him yet today. First one have seen in my little corner of the
world - Roosevelt area of Seattle - ! Seems he should be headed north by
now, right?

And lastly, I have had two sick pine siskin in the last few weeks, they
seemed to suffer from conjunctivitis (?) and looked to be on their last
legs. Other than cleaning the feeders so this doesn't continue, is there
something I should do with the sick birds other than let them be?

If this isn't the place for this question, please let me know and if
possible direct me toward a more appropriate spot.

Thanks,
