This morning I was "in the neighborhood" and headed to the Samish area to
see if the Falcated Duck might still be around. No luck there, but there
are still lots of Eurasian Wigeon, including flocks of 36+ and 26+ between
the bays. Had over a dozen Greater Yellowlegs there also. Heard a
Black-bellied Plover and saw "scores" on the distant mud flats of Samish
Bay. Also a cloud of probably 15-20,000 peeps that were probably Dunlins,
although I didn't see any black bellies when the flock banked. Eagles and
harriers were getting birds up frequently.

On the way back, just west of Burlington a large falcon flew over. It was
not a prairie and I could not see a dark mask. I suspect a male gyr based
on size and structure but did not get the definitive look.

Yesterday the highlights driving around San Juan Island were 10 Harlequin
Ducks and 7+ Rufous Hummingbirds at Lime Kiln Point SP. I did not find the
Yellow-billed Loon at Anacortes.

Oh, cranes were very visible around 5 pm this afternoon east of Corfu Road
heading back to Adams County.
