"Tweets, I have the task of compiling several years worth of bird survey
work, mostly my own (didn't have a computer then), and field notes for the

I would like to do this right, and wonder if there is a reliable CD ROM
program I can use for this, one I can adapt for new birds, with extra
notations for each visit. Any ideas would be helpful. And cost will be a
factor, since I will probably have to pay for it myself. Thanks for your
help. Vicki Biltz Bonney Lake WA. vickibiltz at msn.com"

I have been a fan of Avisys http://www.avisys.net/ over the years, and I
think it would work very well for your needs. It is easy to use, adaptable,
and has the capacity to add field notes for each observation. I consider it
an important birding tool, right up there with my binoculars, scope and
field guide. It does cost $100, in my opinion it is well worth it.
In addition, you could keep one set of data for the Morse Refuge, and a
separate set for your own personal sightings.
