hello tweets,

my bird list for the montlake fill this past sunday. as i stated in
a previous message (sent yesterday), nothing too unusual has arrived
yet. however, i'll be back there on friday morning, with a group of
UW students. maybe we'll pick up something unusual then?

pied-billed grebe
double-crested cormorant
great blue heron
canada goose
"cackling" canada goose (Branta canadensis minima)
mallard
gadwall
green-winged teal
american wigeon
northern shoveler
bufflehead
common merganser
ruddy duck
red-tailed hawk
ring-necked pheasant
american coot
killdeer
ring-billed gull
glaucous-winged gull
rock dove
anna's hummingbird
red-shafted flicker

violet-green swallow

marsh wren
ruby-crowned kinglet
american robin (and two nests!)

yellow-rumped "audubon's" warbler
yellow-rumped "myrtle" warbler (my friend saw this one, i didn't)
