You know...
They didn't change Turkey Vulture to Turkey Stork and we still
have Artic Warbler (old world warbler related to thrushes and
kinglets) and New World Warblers (more closely related to
sparrows); House Sparrows (a weaver) and Song Sparrows (an bunting).

The AOU will do what they do, of course, but this is another one
of those cases where the English names should not be changed
just because the taxonomic wind is coming from a different
direction.
