About a week ago, Puget Sound White-crowned Sparrows arrived/burst
into song in numbers much greater than the few we had in our
neighborhood this winter.

Usually, wintering gambelii begin singing just before pugetensis
arrives and
there is an overlap of songs until early May or so. Then pugetensis
remains
by itself for the summer. This year I do not recall hearing a
Gambel's
singing at all. What's the general experience locally? Will we have a
noticeable migration of Gambel's?
