ELWAS Monthly Meeting: Birding by Kayak
(Thursday, April 25th at 7:00 PM)

Have you ever longed for a better view of sea birds, waterfowl, shorebirds, or island colonies of terns, puffins, or pelicans? A sea kayak can take you there. At our monthly membership meeting on Thursday evening, join ELWAS member Gary Luhm for an evening of "Birding by Kayak", a foray into the kayaker's world of the birds that frequent the sea and shore -- from Alaska to Baja to Florida.

Gary Luhm is an outdoor and nature photographer specializing in sea kayaking. He has given slide shows and multimedia presentations on kayak destinations, on photography, and on birding for the Seattle and Tacoma Mountaineers, the Washington Kayak Club, the Seattle Sea Kayak Club, and the West Coast Sea Kayak Symposium. His photo credits include Photomedia, Sea Kayaker, Canoe and Kayak, and Wetdawg, plus brochures, books, and music CD covers. View Gary's images at his website: www.garyluhm.com

Meeting Location is at Northlake Unitarian-Universalist Church. (Located at 308 4th Avenue S. (corner 4th Ave. S and State). Take I-405 exit 18 (N. E. 85th-Kirkland).
