We had many Rufous arrive on April 4th. Males, but later in the week there
were females too. I do not know how many we have but there are lots. We have
four feeders going. Counted eight around one feeder at one time. They are
still around and now that is nearly 12 days.

We did have this sort of thing happen only twice before in the last 20 .
years.
One year counted 50 birds sitting on our wire fence. Usually they do not
stick around this long they move on. . I am wondering if the weather is
holding them back. My daughter lives in Central BC and they had another foot
of snow overnight. Today she is enticing about 20 robins that arrived last
week with frozen strawberries and blueberries.

We have lots of salmon berry and current flowers out here.
