This morning on Columbia NWR there were 131 white-fronted geese and about
200 sandhill cranes roosting in Marsh Unit 1, Grant County. Some of the
cranes have started to leave, but there are still good numbers along SR 26
in Adams County, and in Grant County west of Royal City. I expect some to
hang in through the weekend.

Lots of egrets, stilts, avocets, gr. yellowlegs, and snipe around, and the
white-crowned sparrows are starting to really push through.
