Just got back in from a long day in the field, nowhere near a computer.
This morning at Marymoor, at about 11:30 we had a Sage Thrasher at the
compost piles (near the northeast corner of the dog exercise area).
Quite a surprise. Typical bright-eyed alert thrasher impression. Plain
brown bird on head, back and wings, wings with two very thin white
wingbars, head with a slight facial pattern with a line behind the eye,
eye orangey/yellow with a black pupil, white central area on chin with
dark lines to either side, breast and flanks white with dark chevrons on
upper breast and dark streaks on flanks and lower belly, whitish spots
on underside of tail. The bird was alert, and was working over the
compost area. We were able to watch it for about 15-20 minutes under
overcast but bright conditions to some sun. We were able to call it in
from the site to the Birdbox.

Sorry about the delay in the report - this is the earliest I could get
anything in.
