....................Sitting in my car eating lunch during my noon lunch
break yesterday on the parking lot next to the wire fence at Columbia
Sportswear in North Portland industrial area next to Smith-Bybee Lakes
area. On the top of the fence along a good length perched varying
numbers of Tree, Barn, Cliff, and Violet-green Swallows along with a few
House Finches (with plenty of red showing). In the trees along the fence
were several Song Sparrows and White-crowned Sparrows(singing their
hearts out for me).
....................Several Gr.Blue Herons flew overhead and a flock of
about 10 Canada Geese grazed in the far end of the field.

....................Now this is *supurb* "brown-bag" lunch entertainment!!!!
