Hi Birding Friends:
Re: Program - A Birder's Guide to Coastal Washington
Last night Bob Morse presented a wonderful program to Rainier Audubon . I
was late posting notification of the event, so I asked Bob if he'd be doing
some more presentations so people could come see it. He is doing a number
of them and sent me the schedule below. His program was just great last
night. He DID do the bird quiz w/ his great bird slides and had over 50
people shouting out the names of the birds and oohing and ahhing at his
great slides of birds and birding sites.
Here's a portion of the writeup that I did about the program, followed by
Bob Morse's schedule. Bob doesn't subscribe to Tweeters, but I'm sure you
can email him for details at:

Speaker: Bob Morse - Birding Washington's Coast

Our speaker will be Bob Morse who wrote the new book, A BIRDER'S
GUIDE TO COASTAL WASHINGTON. Bob gives a terrific presentation featuring
maps, beautiful slides of birding sites on the coast, and excellent slides
of birds (he may give us a little birding quiz). ;-) This presentation is
wonderfully done, and his book is becoming THE BOOK to take to the coast.
This is the time of year when we all want to head to Hoquiam and Ocean
Shores. Bob Morse presents very good information about those places, and
many other areas on the coast and on the way to the coast.
