Jim Pruske and I birding various spots in Lewis and Thurston Counties.
We started at Lincoln Creek, worked our way around to Bunker Creek. We
then came back to Chehalis, went over to the Centralia Steam Plant, and
the Tono Rd. pond. Then went to Waldrick Rd., and worked our way over to
Scatter Creek. We had notable high numbers of Greater Yellowlegs in the
Lincoln Creek area and the Steam Plant. The most interesting bird of the
day was a very tame female Northern Bobwhite in Jim's front yard.
