Hi Tweets:

On Saturday, 10 people birded Spanaway Marsh, Pierce County, on East Lake
Washington Audubon's field trip. Purple Finches sang, Evening Grosbeaks flew
over, a Pileated Woodpecker was scoped. There were many Yellow-rumped
Warblers and Orange-crowned Warblers were plentiful and singing throughout
the marsh. We scoped them as well as had close-up looks at a couple of
individuals. There were several displaying and disputing Rufous
Hummingbirds. Two Downy Woodpeckers entertained us with their dueling
drumming. Here's a list of the 51 species seen during the half-day trip.
