The featured birds are PALM WARBLER, BLACK-THROATED GREY WARBLER,
BLUE-WINGED TEAL and TOWNESEND'S SOLITAIRE.

Sightings for Saturday, April 20

A PALM WARBLER was seen at Grant Narrows along the dyke trail in the marsh
below the tower. Also in the area were 2 PERGRINE FALCONS performing a
nuptial display.

The arrival BLACK-THROATED GREY WARBLER was seen at Jerico Park along the
pipeline trail.

The arrival BLUE-WINGED TEAL was at Willband Creek Park in Abbotsford, at
the
corner of Bateman Road and the Mission Highway. Also seen was a pair of
CINNAMON TEAL.

A TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE was in a front yard at Clements Avenue in North
Vancouver.

Blackie Spit had a CASPIAN TERN and an EARED GREBE. A SORA was at nearby
Elgin Park.

Another 2 CASPIAN TERN were at Iona Island, and an AMERICAN KESTREL and a
ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK were on Sea Island.

Friday, April 19:

A GOLDEN EAGLE was seen flying over Ryder Lake and Elk View Road in
Chilliwack.

A pair of MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRDS continued to be seen at the southeast corner of
the rugby field in Burnaby Lake Park.

A TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE was relocated at Grant Narrows Regional Park, half a
mile past the observation tower on the north side of the dyke.

A GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE was at the southeast corner of 208th Street
and
24th Avenue in Langly.

Thursday, April 18:

The arrival WARBLING VIREO was seen around 37A Avenue in South Langly.
3 MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRDS were on the rugby field at Burnaby Lake Park.

One AMERICAN KESTREL was along the road close to the marina at Point
Roberts.

A pair of EARED GREBES was seen off the Tsawwassen Ferry Jetty.

Wednesday, April 17:

20 SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHERS were at Boundary Bay Regional Park, and a WESTERN
MEADOWLARK was also in the area.

A SORA was seen at Jerico Park.
