I can't believe all the ravens I have around my house right now. I have
never seen so much in my area of Washington. They are right now as I write,
playing and courting each other in the wind. It's so cool to watch them play
like raptors in the wind. They are extremely good flyers. I had two merlins
circling above them watching. I'm surprised they didn't play fight with them
like they are known to do. But they looked to be juv. so they might have
been curious but cautious with such large birds. Even the male red tail had
to dive out of the way because of their playfull mobbing.
