Tweets - As of next week, my survey trips will be THURSDAYS at 6:30 a.m. This
is changing both day and time. If you are interested in joining me, drop me a
note.

Next trip, Thursday, May 2.

Also, a few notes from today that didn't make it into my report for the day:

TREE SWALLOWS continue to investigate boxes, but they are not necessarily
nesting yet.

At the Rowing Club were the first MALLARD DUCKLINGS of the year - at least 8
little ones.

RED-TAILED HAWKS were seen on the odd-snag nest and around the nest west of the
Rowing Club.

We heard a PURPLE FINCH.

There was only ONE AMERICAN COOT, and for the first time this year we missed
Green-winged Teal.
