I got an e-mail yesterday from the woman at house mini-farm the Common
Grackle was most frequently seen on Birchfield Road east of Yakima, saying
that she thought she saw it yesterday. After work today I stopped by and
was able to find it fairly quickly.

It was first seen on March 9, so has been there for almost seven weeks.
When I saw it on April 9, the last reported sighting, I figured it would
soon be heading for wherever "home" is - to its breeding territory. If you
haven't seen it yet, you'd better try soon. It certainly won't stay around
forever.
