Hi Tweeters,

I have wanted to get to know some of the common birds a little better and something I was hoping to see this spring would be either the Winter Wren building or showing off his nests to a prospective mate or finding a Brown Creepers nest. Last night I had the joy of watching a Brown Creeper adding nesting material to her nest in Discovery Park. After I saw her gathering spiders webs and soft downy fluff stuff, with a little patience, I saw her enter her nest behind some bark pulled away from a large stump. I stood there thrilled and mesmerized for quite some time. I really related to the person who posted about finding the hummingbird nest at NWR. There might be hope for the Winter Wren as well!!!
