Judy -

At Marymoor Park (Redmond), my data shows a very clear migratory nature for
Yellow-rumped Warbler, with Spring migration starting in mid-February and
lasting through May, and Fall migration starting in late September and
continuing though December. We have no records from January (and only a few in
December and February), and none from June/July/August.

I noted that Sibley's indicates the Audubon's is present in this area
year-round. But I am thinking these may be migrants since I haven't seen any
around since I move here early in January. Also, a few days ago a
White-crowned Sparrow appreared for the first time since I've been watching the
ravine. It may have been a local on the move. The little flocks that wintered
at my place in Arizona always left for points north the second week in May!
