Sightings for Thursday, April 25th

Near Lougheed Mall, a BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLER was seen.

At Maplewood Flats in North Vancouver were two PURPLE MARTINS.

Wednesday, April 24th

The arrival NASHVILLE WARBLER was seen on the southwest side of Lost Lagoon
in Stanley Park. Also in the area, close to the lagoon was a tan-stripe
WHITE-THROATED SPARROW.

Four YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRDS were in the north outer pond at Iona Island.
Also
at Iona were GREATER and LESSER YELLOWLEGS and a GREATER WHITE-FRONTED
GOOSE.

There were also large numbers of DUNLIN and WESTERN SANDPIPERS on the fore
shore, and 4 LEAST SANDPIPERS in the ponds. There are also still large
numbers of scoters massing off the tip of the south jetty.

In a late report for Monday, a bird thought to be a female AMERICAN REDSTART
was seen
briefly in a garden at the 3800 Block of Cambridge Street in North Burnaby.

An OSPREY was seen at Hawthorne Park in North Surrey, at 104th Ave and 144th
Street.

Tuesday, April 23rd

A pair of MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRDS continued to frequent Burnaby Lake Park.

A female ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD was at Burnaby Mountain Park.

Twelve GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE were at Reifel, and a further 25 migrated
overhead.

FourteenGREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE were at the mouth of Still Creek at
Burnaby
Lake.
