Hello,
On Friday, April 26, I was surprised to find a Golden-crowned Sparrow in
the shrubbery surrounds at the downtown Burien Park 'n Ride. Have not
seen one of these here in the 7 yrs I been taking the bus from the area.
White-crowned Sparrows, reliably here every year, have been singing
conspiculously in the trees and hedges at the park 'n ride for at least a
couple of weeks.

Today, at the NE edge of Seahurst Park near my condo, spotted a male
Brown-headed Cowbird and an Orange-crowned Warbler. Of course, have seen
many species paired up..........Red-breasted Nuthatches, Robins, Black-
capped and Chestnut-backed Chickadees, Northern Flickers, Pileated
Woodpeckers, Downy Woodpeckers, Violet-Green Swallows, Spotted
Towhees, Bewick's Wrens, Starlings, Common Bushtits, and Pine Siskins
doing earnest chasings.

Cheers, me2
