No great shakes but having just returned from KS, I note that this morn we
have a range of the usual migrants for this time of year, including 3 each
of Pacific-slope and Hammond's Flycatchers, single Yellow-rumped,
Orange-crowned, and Black-throated Gray Warblers, a Hermit Thrush, an Am.
Goldfinch, Rufous Hummer, and a BH Cowbird, although I had one of the latter
already. Notably, all but the last were later than average this year--the
Pacific-slope Flycatcher most notably, missing its April 18 date of the last
four-five years by more than a week. I guess I'd attribute this to a very
cold March and a cool start to April.

Of greater note, I had an adult N. GOSHAWK just off 526 and Evergreen, near
Casino Rd. in Mukilteo, back on April 22, while running errands before my
trip. Also seen by others in Skagit County: SAY'S PHOEBE along Martin Rd.
in Rockport April 20, and two SANDHILL CRANES on Fir I. April 20-21.
