Hello Tweets,

Today my mother and I ventured south to the River S Unit of Ridgefield NWR
in Clark Co. then birded our way back north, where we encountered many new
spring arrivals at several locations to be listed below for our personal
year records. The water levels at the River S Unit of Ridgefield NWR are
very high compared to last year on this exact date, which limit good
shorebird coverage that greatly varies at this location. A list of the
notable highlights to be listed below at selected locations. 2 SOLITARY
SANDPIPERS were present at the two seperate locations within short distance
of the refuge headquarters and observed by several observers including
Marcus Roening and Heather Ballash, but not at the same time during our
visit.
