Hi Tweeters,
For our 25th, we ended up on Vancouver Island, but were unable to get much information on birding. On our last day, I found one book on Vancouver Island itself, written by Keith Taylor, same person who wrote Birders Guide British Columbia. At the time we were too tired to mess with any more bird searches. Do any of you have any field guides for Canada, or Vancouver Island that you really like? Since I haven't had much opportunity to use the BC book, I wasn't sure about the Vancouver Island book. We are really hoping to visit the Island again soon, and try to spend some vacation time up in northern BC, so any ideas on books to purchase would be helpful. Thanks......
