I just got back from a visit to the Cashmere-Wenatchee area. Some of the
highlights were:

Cashmere:
3 BLACK-CHINNED HUMMINGBIRD
1 GRAY CATBIRD
35 BLACK SWIFT (a high feeding flock over the house I was staying at, with
many Vaux's feeding below them)
VAUX'S SWIFT
BANK SWALLOW
NORTHERN ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOW
EASTERN KINGBIRD
WESTERN KINGBIRD

Confluence Park, Wenatchee:
possible EURASIAN COLLARED DOVE*
female HOODED MERGANSER, acting like young were hidden nearby

Badger Mtn Rd to Waterville:
2 WHITE-THROATED SWIFT (on cliff portion above E. Wen.)
3 LARK SPARROW
2 VESPER SPARROW
HORNED LARK
1 MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD
1 YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER (Audubon's)

Highway 2 from Orondo to East Wenatchee:
5 COMMON LOON
1 RED-NECKED GREBE
1 LINCOLN'S SPARROW

* Steve and Al, I met you on the park bridge: The reason I am calling this
a "possible" is because of the square tail and the chattering noise I heard
just prior to its flushing -- this matches two field marks given by Harry
Nehls on OBOL today regarding another Eurasian Collared seen at Joseph,
Oregon. I went to Confluence looking for the ECDO reported by David
Beaudette some time back.

A notable absence was the almost complete lack of warblers in all locations.
WESTERN WOOD PEWEES were notably abundant everywhere.
