Greets --
What a thrill it was for me to see and identify the solitary sandpiper
at Narbeck Wetlands this morning. It put the four green herons (all perched
in the same tree, directly across the pond from where I sat) in the shade --
even when the Cooper's Hawk routed two of them. Even the sora I saw there
this morning took a back-seat to the SoSa. Great birding this morning!
