Hi all:

This just came in from Denis Lepage, a colleague of mine at Bird Studies
Canada. He's finished a neat webpage where you can download checklists from
around the world. Should be fun, even if you're just dreaming of foreign
travel!

Cheers,

Subject: bird checklist of the world now available

I've recently installed a new feature on Bird Links to the World.

Under each regional page, you are now able to obtain a complete
bird checklist list in your prefered taxonomic classification (Sibley
& Monroe, Clements, Howard and Moore, AOU and the French
Commission Internationale pour les noms fran?ais d'oiseaux.).

There are over 500 different checklists currently available, including
all continents, countries, US states, canadian provinces, and many
endemic regions (islands, etc).

Have a look at Bird Links to the World and have fun!!! This should
prove a very popular tool with birdwatchers from around the globe.
