Got to watch a SOLITARY SANDPIPER as it ended its night of migration at 8:30
am August 11th and landed on the highest rocky point of our Cheney property.
We heard it while it was still high in the sky & saw it descend the last 70
meters. It was solitary. It rested less than 5 minutes & flew off toward
distant water. Fun! Interesting to us.
