Hello Bruce Jan and Tweeters,
Concerning the stay in Ocean Shore,we always been camping,and this fits us
good.We run in to a birder who comes from Cupville nort,and he stayed in
Aberdeen at the Nortic Hotel.He mention the prices in Ocean Shores what are
real high,where you can find hotels proable halve the price.
Jan got a point there,when she mention to beeing that tired,who realy cares
how fancy a hotel it is.Aberdeen also got some eatery around and than you
also you can visit Bottle beach and Tokland on the second day.
If this is a relaxed vacation where you also want time to do other thinks
than birding,than again this is a different story.Most all the birders i
know,spent very little money on fancy hotels,rather on good Optics.But this
is all to the individual person.In September there would be all kind of
hotel rooms available,since there been putting that new casino with a hotel
in.
