Matt - Will Do. The other person that I'd suggest contacting is Dr. Mike
Schroeder from WDFW. Mike is the agency's Grouse Man, and should have all
the documentation that you need (or, at least be able to turn you on to the
District Wildlife Biologist from out of Dayton or wherever he's
stationed...) for Sprucies in the Blues. I don't have Mike's contact info
here at home, but he lives up in Brewster - working on sharp-tails, Sage
grouse, etc. out of there. I'll check the contact information when I get
back into the office next week, and pass it to you.

Tweeters - if anyone else has good information for Matt, please pass it on
(maybe even some good Spruce Grouse birding locations for those of us who
have never seen the beasts in this State.....). Might even be new info to
the WDFW types!
