You didn't mention where you saw it, Blake. I would hate to think it was the
gorgeous male bobwhite I reported as an RBA on Tweeters June 16/17 (an hour
and a half north of Seattle). There are only two or three small known pockets
of bobwhites in Washington and I haven't found any other records of reports
this far north (so far). :-(

I never heard nor saw the little guy again but never stopped thinking about
him, hoping he would somehow miraculously find a mate and bequeath us with
some little bobwhites.
