Hello Tweeters,

I am planning a trip to Washington 9/3 to 9/7. I was hoping to get some
advice and info on some birds. I will be birding the Rt 20 Rockport - Skagit
River area in the afternoon of 9/3 looking for Black Swift (this seemed to be
the best option from info received previously) and then the east side of the
Cascades 9/4. Are there any good locations to look for Chukar on the east
side? I plan to look for the Mynas on 9/5 in Vancouver. I understand they
are at Wylie and 1st or 2nd. Is there any particular time of the day that is
best to see them? Are the skylarks still being seen on Victoria Island and
is there a recent location? On 9/6 and 9/7 will be birding the Ocean Shores
area. Was also hoping to see Spotted and N. Pygmy Owls again along the way.
If anyone could help with recent local info it would be greatly appreciated.
I am birding this trip by myself. If anyone is interested in birding with an
out of state birder any of those dates, please contact me. Thanks for your
time and any info.
