My wife and I just got back from the Similkameen Valley in southern BC. Gloriously beautiful place! We spent a couple of days there and were able to do some birding. Our full list follows. There were a few species we were unable to ID, either due to our lack of ability or to the birds not cooperating and flitting away to quickly. We are pretty sure we could at least add Golden Eagle to this list, but alas, it disappeared over the trees before we could make sure of the ID. Woulda been new to our list too! *sigh*

Anyway, here is the list, including those that were newbies to our personal list. Only been birding semi-seriously for a year or so, so some may seem like "basic" birds, but all birds are good. Here it is:
