Upon the return to school this week at Rochester High School, my
colleague Jan Watson and myself were deluged with requests from fellow staff
members to identify a "strange" bird that has been hanging around our school
for the past two weeks. We initially were stumped and possibly still are but
after checking all of our available field guides the closest ID that we could
come up with is the "Egyptian Goose". Has anyone reported one missing as
this is listed as an exotic species. Any thoughts?
