Greetings all,

A few notes from the Horan Natural Area at Confluence State Park in
Wenatchee.

The evening of 29 August, Paul and Glenna Stowell and me watched a Barn Owl
hunting the field at the radio antennae. It's been around for about a week.

This morning 30 August, Steve Mlodinow reports a Northern Waterthrush seen
from the gravel nature trail at the west end of the pear orchard. Also this
morning at the same place I saw a Black-throated Gray Warbler and a
Golden-crowned Sparrow.

The Eurasian Collared-Dove was spotted this morning on a wire north of the
Confluence Wetlands interpretive station. It flew to the west across the
railroad tracks.

Great Birding,
Dave Beaudette
