Hi Lydia And Tweeters:
This is a matter of simple economics. There are more people and more
birders in the Eastern half of the country. More people means more
sales..plain and simple... retailers make what sells.
Sort of reminds me of the East coast baseball teams versus the West
coast ones. We have better teams, more exciting divisions, etc. but the
East coast teams seem to get all the press and attention. Why? Because
they're more fans back east.

Birded the Skagit Flats area on Sunday, Had two Peregrine Falcons,
three Short-eared Owls, A Barn Owl and a assortment of the usual
suspects.
