Stayed fairly local on Sunday, 12/1. Weather was very foggy, cold, and the
roads were covered with ice. Along with the normal waterfowl at this time of
year a few interesting birds were observed. Highlights as follows.

Moses Lake Spillway (North)

1 Osprey (quite late I would think)
6 Bonaparte's Gull

Lind Coulee

11 American Tree Sparrow (all in one flock and the only ones observed this
day)

Kimberlee Road

1 Great Horned Owl

Pelican Drive, Moses Lake

1 Slate-colored Junco amongst 30 or 40 Oregon race
26 Canvasback (feeding along Goat Island)

Montlake Park, Moses Lake

63 Tundra Swan
11 Dunlin
1 Red-Tailed Hawk

Marina Drive, Moses Lake (near Big Sun Resort campground)

200+ Common Merganser
1 THAYER'S GULL
26 Bonaparte's Gull
6 Tundra Swan
