On Friday, 11/29, I hiked to Ingall's Pass (~6000') in the Wenatchee Mountains. Conditions there were more like early September than late November - almost no snow, warm temperature, lots of sun. I heard 3 or 4 flocks of Siskins on the hike and saw one that had ~25 birds. Maybe we'll see more here when winter returns to the mountains.
