A juv YELLOW-BILLED LOON was at the spillway of Wanapum Dam near Vantage,
Kittitas Co WA on 24 Nov according to Scott Downes. On 30 Nov, Matthew
Moskwik reports the bird was still present below the Wanapum Dam spillway.
Matthew observed the bird for 30 min from the dam visitor's parking area (on
the east side of the river). Also present since 24 Nov, Matthew reports 3
LONG-TAILED DUCKS (2 females and 1first-winter male) were observed from
Wanapum State Park (on the west side of the river) and the single
GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULL. WA DeLorme 52, A-1.

Two MERLINS were in Othello, Adams Co WA on 27 Nov according to Bob Flores.

A flock of 8 AMERICAN TREE SPARROWS were at Mann Lake, east of Lewiston
Orchards, Nez Perce Co ID on 30 Nov according to Terry and Christine Gray.
Also at the lake were 5 DUNLIN and a SAY'S PHOEBE. From the north end of
Lewiston, follow US 12 south into town, cross the Clearwater River on
Memorial Bridge and immediately take the first left (east) toward East
Lewiston. Turn left (east) onto East Main Street and go about a half mile
to the flashing yellow lights. Turn right (south) onto Lapwai (a.k.a.
Lindsay Creek) Road. When the road forks stay right on Lindsay Creek Road
(Nez Perce County Road 460) and follow it about 5 miles to its terminus at
Grelle Avenue. Turn left (east) onto Grelle Avenue and just past the sharp
right curve, turn left (east) onto East Powers Avenue (a.k.a. Lapwai Road).
Continue straight (east) past the grain towers to the main parking lot. ID

Two BLUE JAYS were at Union Center in Whitman Co WA on 29 Nov according to
Tom and Diane Weber. The birds were feeding along the shoulder of the road
about 100 yards south of the Union Flat Creek Bridge. WA DeLorme 57, B-6
(T40N, R43E, Sec 36)
