>From reading some of the old accounts it sounds like Brant were much more
abundant a century ago than they are today in the Puget Sound region. I read
somewhere that possibly their wintering grounds had shifted. Does anyone know
if this is the case or is their another or multiple causes to their decline?
Certainly around Vashon, birders feel there has been a decline in the last
decade.
