I have seen zero Pine Siskins so far. But in my yard, I normally won't
see them until 'real' winter. Several goldfinches visit the thistle
feeder.

Have several Golden Crowned Sparrows hanging around here at Northgate.

A friend who also works on the UW campus, reports a Cooper's Hawk
sitting right outside her window, down near the ship canal. She is
sending me
her photo for verification.
